Someday I will...

Actually be organized. I buy a cute new planner every year that I hardly use and pretend I am organized but I'm not. I live in organized chaos. I don't like it but I never change it.

Live in California. Even if it's just for a year or for 10 years, I just want to live there.

Make enough money that I can buy things I want without feeling guilty.

Have a house that contains things from my Pinterest boards. I am in love with so many gorgeous things that people have in their houses. So let's hope I can find a guy who is handy and will love me enough to do DIY projects for me. ;)

Get my BSN. Someday, it will happen.

Get my teaching degree. Some days I want to be a nurse, other days I want to be a teacher. The days in between, I want to be 15 other things. Indecisive much?

Travel outside the U.S. To some tropical island or somewhere mega fun.

Be able to do my hair!! I am determined to learn. I am hair ignorant and mess it up. Every. single. time.

I will wake up on time and get out of bed easily. I have to have 4 alarms at least and am AWFUL at getting up.

I will successfully blog 3 or more times a week. Let's all cross our fingers that my life gets more interesting and I will have more things to blog about in the future :P

Happy Halloween everyone! I am going to be handing out candy dressed as a Lady Bug. I found the wings and headband in a box so that's as festive as I will be getting!

  This week is all about music. It's fun to think about the memories that go along with certain songs.

1. What is your all-time favorite song? Don't Stop Believin' by Journey



I'm just a small town girl after all.

2. Who is your favorite singer/band? Oh gosh, I don't know... B Spears? ha kidding!.... I like a lot of people. Bad answer :)

3. What song reminds you of your childhood? Ride a Horse, Save a Cowboy. My friends and I made a video to this in 5th grade. We all wore white beaters and jeans and then proceeded to dance around on chairs like crazed videos. I hope the video was burned hahah



I also used to love N'Sync too.

4. What songs put you in a good mood? Anything with a good beat and that I can dance and sing too.

5. What is your music to rock out to in your car?  Unfortunately, I just downgraded from XM Radio to plain old radio so whatever kinda hip hop or pop they are playing. I think it's hilarious when people look at you like you are a crazy because you are singing and dancing in your car!

6. What is the most embarrassing album or song you own? I'm totally rocking some Lizzie McGuire and That's So Raven in my iTunes lib and I have a High School Musical CD. I haven't listened to either for a long time though, in my defense. :)

From First to Last [Link Up]

Happy Tuesday everyone! Nothing exciting went on this weekend or the last two days..boooring. I am linking up with one of my fav bloggers, Hallie and her friend, Halie! I love a fun link up..they give me something to write about!

1. First Store You Head To In The Mall?
     I usually go to Victoria's Secret first. I always head to the same section which has American Eagle, Buckle, Bohme, Vanity, and Victoria's Secret. Those are about the only stores I hit up, it's a pretty small mall.

2. First Aisle You Hit In The Grocery Store
    I rarely go grocery shopping in town except for milk so when I do, I go straight back to the milk and leave. I refuse to be tricked into buying something else like they want you too! haha ;) Otherwise, when I go to Walmart I start in the clear back and make my way to the front.

Since I just saw this yesterday for the first time, I will do last weeks too.

Last weeks: 

1. First thing I reach for in the fridge
I usually grab some juice in the morning. If I have the morning off, I will make myself some eggs first.

2. First car accident or traffic violation
I was 16 and we were on our way back from haunted houses about an hour from my house. We were running late, getting close to the midnight curfew time. My friend was worried about getting back, her parents weren't okay with her being 10 min late like my parents. So I caved and started speeding after her non-stop begging and boooom cop. 90 in a 70. Shit. So I got on this program for a month where I could only drive to work and school. I could only have one person in my car at a time and blah blah blah. It sucked. Haven't gotten a speeding ticket since...

3. First BIG accomplishment I'm proud of

 

 I am almost done with my nursing degree and I will be very proud of myself when I am done with it. I have worked my caboose off and there have been so many times I have doubted myself and told myself that I am not smart enough to finish it. Even with all the struggles, I know I will be so happy to know I am was able to do it when it is done.

 

This weeks:

1. First real piece of jewelry you owned
Necklace- my parent's bought a necklace with three sayings from a jewelry store. I don't think I wore it much. I wasn't into jewelry back then. (ya know, 7 years ago when I was 14. sheeeesh)   

2. First magazine subscription
When I was "young", I got this children's magazine that had kid articles and word searches/puzzles/etc.
 

3. First time staying home alone
Hmmm....idk baha. I'm sure it was when I was 13 or 14 and I'm sure I was shaking in my boots. I have never liked staying home alone. Too many scary noises and I don't do well with a dark house. I'm sure I turned most of the lights on in the house, I still have quite a few when I am home alone now haha

Side note: It's snowing again. I am having MAJOR winter blues right now. Grrr, go away snow.

I freak myself out WAY too much.   2. What is one TV show you have always wanted to get into but haven't yet? Um, none really. I only watch about three shows and I have a hard enough time keeping up with them already haha   3. What is one daring activity on your bucket list? I want to move across the country. I want to live on one of the coasts. Either CA or FL. I love sunshine and the beach!   4. Would you ever travel alone? Yeppers. I have flown alone a lot but always met up with someone so it would be a little nerve racking at first but I think I could manage.   5. What activities do you like to do alone? I like to do a lot of things alone. I have become a very independent little lady recently. ;)     Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!! It's snowing here...a lot.
