Pin Love

I'm joining in for Social Sunday. This week is all about favorite pins. Of course, I really like Pinterest and spend way too much time on it but my favorites change every so often. 

1. What is your favorite outfit pin? I love these because my style is usually pretty simple and/or casual, I will add a pop of color and some jewelry but that's about it these days.

2. What is your favorite food pin? My love for cupcakes runs very deep.. These would be great right now since Girl Scout Cookies are coming out!

3. What is your favorite wedding pin? I really really wanted to skip this one so how about a wedding cake... ;) This is the best you will get from me for about 5 years :P

4. What is your favorite DIY/craft pin? I really want to do this before Summer! No more annoying camis!!

5. What is your favorite quote/verse/lyric pin? Ohhh, this is so hard. I love so many of my quote pins.


I still feel lost and I have no idea what is going to happen here, I am trying to loosen up a little bit and just go with the flow :)

I get to sleep in tomorrow so I get to skip the usual "Ugh, it's Monday" routine I do, but everyone else have a great Monday!

My 1st Sunday Social of '14.

1. What is the name of your blog? How long have you been blogging?
Little Lady, 11 months. 

2. Why do you blog?
I was so inspired by all the blogs that I followed that I wanted to start my own. I like having a place to communicate with people that understand blogging. It's a good place to vent and make friends :)

3. What is the first blog you ever followed?
Mama Laughlin. I wasn't looking for weight-loss tips like most of her other followers, I just thought she was hilarious. 

4. What is your favorite post you wrote in 2013? 
Hmmm...probably this post about my first weekend in CA. Some days, I still can't believe I live here! :) 

5. What are your blogging goals for 2014?
Blog 3 times a week. Get a new blog design. Gain 10 more followers. Gain confidence and come out of the "blogging closet." 

6. Top 3 favorite blogs to follow?
How about 5 instead?..haha I really love all the blogs I follow though! These girls just make me laugh every day!

Sunday Social- 12.08

1. What is the wallpaper on your cell phone? My cute little nephew :) 

2. What do you keep beside your bed? A lamp and my phone charger.

3. What is your least favorite chore? Hmm..dishes. I used to not mind them but now I don't have a dishwasher and have to do them every stinkin' day. Annoying.

4. If you could eliminate one thing from your daily routine, what would it be? Blow drying my hair!!!! It only takes 10-15 min but I wish it could just *poof* be dry. 

5. What do you do to vent anger? Mumble things to myself, hit things, cry, scream. I am also an emotional cleaner, which can be good or bad haha 

6. What is your favorite holiday of the year and why? Christmas. It's one of the few times my family all gets together and I enjoy celebrating it. 

December Social

Can you believe it's already December?!  It's finally my birthday month - yay! Not to brag, but it's 80 degrees here today! It is actually kinda weird. 

1. What is your favorite ice cream flavor? Chocolate Cookie Dough, Bunny Tracks, or Cookies and Cream. I love them all.

2. What is your favorite smell? Watermelon Patch by Scentsy. Otherwise I like anything sweet or like a vanilla smell.

3. What is your favorite TV commercial? 

I laugh every time!!

4. What is your favorite day of the week? Hmm...I would have to say Saturday now. I have been doing yoga on the beach and it gives me something to look forward too. 

5. What is your favorite way to waste time? Online shopping or reading blogs.

6. What is your favorite article of clothing? My boots from Payless. Perfect for fall. 

J.o.b.s - Social Sunday

Happy Sunday! I really enjoyed sleeping in and slowly slipping my coffee. :)



1. What is your dream job? To be a pediatric and/or OB-GYN nurse. Lately, I have been thinking about being a teacher too... See a theme here?

2. If you had just won the lottery and didn’t need to work for money, what would you do with your time? Bake, exercise, blog, SHOP, drink, read, attempt my bucket list....I could go on and on. Maybe I should buy myself a lottery ticket.... I actually think I would go crazy after awhile though.

3. What piece of career advice would you give to someone just starting out in your field?
I would say..focus on the good and not the bad. Everyone thinks, "Eww, you clean butts." Yes, you do clean butts but you also get to know the residents and that becomes such a small part in their care.

4. What would be your ideal “just for fun” job?
I would love to be a professional organizer and decorator! Isn't that nuts? I love to clean and organizer other people's stuff. I am always messing with my mom's stuff and helping her redo rooms.

5. What was your first “real” job?
I started working at the movie theatre when I was 16. It was an easy job and great perks, like free popcorn and movies. (I still work there off and on.) I was crazy and had 3 jobs when I was 16. I loved making my own money and not relying on my parent's for that.

Fall is in the Air.

No work for me this weekend....I understand why people love having weekends off. I love getting up {slowly} and drinking a few cups of coffee instead of sprinting out the door for work.

It has been dark when I get up at 5 am for work and it's pretty depressing. This week's Sunday Social is about fall. I suppose I better get used to the fact that fall is here!



1. What is your favorite fall activity? Bonfires, I love sitting around a fire with a few drinks, chatting with good friends.

 2. Do you follow a football team? If so, which one and why? I don't really...My family are huge Husker's fans. My ex was a huge Packer's fan and I actually followed them and knew the players otherwise I am not a big football watcher...

 3. What is something fun about fall in your area? Nothing really fun to do around here..ha There is a pumpkin farm with a maze or haunted houses. I love the changing colors of the leaves.

 4. What are your favorite fall staple outfits? Layers. I am loving cardigan's right now. I also love boots and light long sleeve shirts.

 5. What things are you looking forward to most about this coming fall season? My mom makes the best pumpkin bars..yum. I'm looking forward to seeing what a different state is like during fall.

 6. What is your favorite fall holiday? Tradition? Thanksgiving is one of the two times that my dad's family gets together and I love spending time with them. The food is pretty good too ;P. I am not sure if I will be back for this Thanksgiving or what I will be doing since I will be living in Cali then. I will miss my family but I am looking forward to making a few traditions of my own! :)

  This week is all about music. It's fun to think about the memories that go along with certain songs.

1. What is your all-time favorite song? Don't Stop Believin' by Journey



I'm just a small town girl after all.

2. Who is your favorite singer/band? Oh gosh, I don't know... B Spears? ha kidding!.... I like a lot of people. Bad answer :)

3. What song reminds you of your childhood? Ride a Horse, Save a Cowboy. My friends and I made a video to this in 5th grade. We all wore white beaters and jeans and then proceeded to dance around on chairs like crazed videos. I hope the video was burned hahah



I also used to love N'Sync too.

4. What songs put you in a good mood? Anything with a good beat and that I can dance and sing too.

5. What is your music to rock out to in your car?  Unfortunately, I just downgraded from XM Radio to plain old radio so whatever kinda hip hop or pop they are playing. I think it's hilarious when people look at you like you are a crazy because you are singing and dancing in your car!

6. What is the most embarrassing album or song you own? I'm totally rocking some Lizzie McGuire and That's So Raven in my iTunes lib and I have a High School Musical CD. I haven't listened to either for a long time though, in my defense. :)

  Today I am linking up with Ashley from Ashley Lately and Neely from A Complete Waste Of Makeup   1. What is one movie you are terrified to watch? I don't watch scary movies anymore. I freak myself out WAY too much.   2. What is one TV show you have always wanted to get into but haven't yet? Um, none really. I only watch about three shows and I have a hard enough time keeping up with them already haha   3. What is one daring activity on your bucket list? I want to move across the country. I want to live on one of the coasts. Either CA or FL. I love sunshine and the beach!   4. Would you ever travel alone? Yeppers. I have flown alone a lot but always met up with someone so it would be a little nerve racking at first but I think I could manage.   5. What activities do you like to do alone? I like to do a lot of things alone. I have become a very independent little lady recently. ;)     Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!! It's snowing here...a lot.
