Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving! Did you brave the crowds and go shopping super late or at the crack of dawn?

I was a little bummed about being alone yesterday but I was doing okay until after my post-eating nap. I woke up full on depressed that I was alone and had no friends or family here to hang out with. So I drove around to check out all the crazy people standing in lines. Glad I passed on those crowds. I came back and did a little Black Friday online shopping, that always makes a girl feel better right? :)

Shopping Hiatus = Over

So I finally broke my non-shopping record. I had cut myself off from shopping...I know I am crazy!! I have been trying to get ready for my move and I know it will cost me a fortune so the fact that I made it 49 days is impressive if you ask me!!! ;)

I went with a friend and her daughter this past weekend so she could shop and I found this adorable purse at Gordman's! Since I am picky about my purses, I couldn't say no ;)

Thursday night, we had a big storm. The news is calling it "microburst wind clouds" or something, whatever those are haha but some people are swearing it's a tornado. It knocked down trees and I was right in the middle of it!! So I ran back into the movies and it was a mess.

Took all the letters off of the billboard hahah

The picture above cracks me up but I didn't enjoy running around in the pouring rain to find the letters! ha

This sign is across the street. The wind pushed it right over.  

The winds only lasted about 20 seconds but did some major damage in the meantime. I posted this status later that night....
I wasn't trying to start any drama or make people things I don't care, just to remind people that things could always be worse. A few broken windows and a turned over camper is a lot better than the alternative. I am still praying for those who were affected by the first and second tornadoes.

Okay back to the topic, thank you for that Blogger.

We stopped at Plato's Closet. It is a second-hand type store except it is only brand names. I am not ashamed to say I shop there considering you can get amazing deals like $35 for Big Star jeans!! I went there today and I only found a few shirts but I still got a major steal on them!

I also went shopping at American Eagle, Payless, VS, Buckle, and Vanity. No worries....they were all sales and I finally used my gift cards from Christmas. Can you believe I have had them for 6 months and haven't used them? Me either!

I felt like a celeb on the movies carrying bags and bags. (There is only one thing in most of the bags :P)

I am still really digging G-Stage and I have stopped myself from buying something everyday! haha

Weekend Recap

This weekend was boooooring. Snooze.

I worked all weekend at both jobs. Blah. I'm pretty sure I would weigh 5 less pounds if I didn't work at the movie theatre. Free popcorn and pop is hard to resist sometimes! haha

I did some online shopping in between work and homework. Highlight of my weekend ha

I got new flip flops and socks from Old Navy. ha. But I got cute shirts from a store called G-stage. I found this store when I was in California. They all call it the "cheap Asian store," I'm not sure why but it is cheap and cute though!! Check it out.... gstagelove.com A lot of the stuff looks a little ghetto on the website but there are cute finds too!!
